Azerbaijan Polytechnic University

Azerbaijan Technical University was established in 1950 and one of the prestigious University of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan Polytechnic University provides education according to the Bologna system. There are 6000 academic fields, approximately 6000 students are trained for 70 different specialization programs In the University. Azerbaijan Polytechnic University has its own library with more than 700,000 academic publications, and students of the university have the opportunity to access these contents over the internet. The reason why students choose this University is that tuition fees start from 950 USD and facilities for the computer engineering program.

The course language of preparatory and bachelor degree is in Azerbaijan and it is compulsory to get preparatory education in the first year for all faculties and departments. However, tutors know in English and overseas student do not need to worry and generally students learn Azerbaijan language in a short time.

Location

Azerbaijan Polytechnic University is located at the heart of İnkılap street, 100 meters from Azerbaijan Medical University. Since buses pass right across from the university, transportation can be carried anywhere easily.
 

Accommodation

Azerbaijan Technical (Polytechnic) University does not have its own student dormitory. Students enrolled in the university either settle in the dormitory of Azerbaijan Medical University or rent a house. Due to the central location of the university, monthly rental fee ranges from 500 to 600 Azerbaijani Manats in the case of renting a house on Inkilab street. Real estate agents demand 20% of the students who rent a house.
